Please help me build a PC for $800.00
What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.
I will be using this PC for everyday browsing and streaming (reddit, youtube, netflix, hulu and etc.) and will also be using this for gaming such as Overwatch and Apex Legends. I'm hoping to be able to smoothly run these games at least on medium settings without my CPU running at 100% like my current build lol.
What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?
I'm really trying to stay at a max of $800.00 USD. I live in the USA (Maryland).
When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.
I can buy the parts now if they are available. Flexible on purchase dates.
What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (Tower/OS/monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc)
I already own an Acer GN246HL monitor (hoping to be able to maximize its capabilities if possible)
Viewable Area: 24'
Refresh Rate: 144Hz
Pixel Pitch: 0.276mm
NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready
NVIDIA 3D Lightboost
Deathadder mouse.
Pretty much just need the PC built.
Which country (and state/province) will you be purchasing the parts in? If you're in US, do you have access to a Microcenter location?
I live in Maryland and have access to numerous electronic stores near me. I have micro centers, best buys and etc. i can goto but would prefer ordering online. i have amazon prime.
Will you be overclocking? If yes, are you interested in overclocking right away, or down the line? CPU and/or GPU?
No, don't think i'll need this.
Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSD, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc)
I would like a SSD in this build
I would prefer Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU but if other brands would provide better performance for my budget i'm fine with buying a different brands CPU and GPU.
Do you have any specific case preferences (Size like ITX/microATX/mid-tower/full-tower, styles, colors, window or not, LED lighting, etc), or a particular color theme preference for the components?
No, I would rather spend more on the actual hardware instead of the aesthetics/cosmetics. But, i do like the clear towers.
Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? If you do need one included, do you have a preference?
No
Extra info or particulars:
I really want to just get the best performing PC possible with this budget. Do not care for how the PC looks.
